We gathered as a circle of women... mugs in hand, hearts open, cameras on or off... and settled into the gentle container of our latest Thread Talk. The date itself, September 11th, brought a somber resonance. Before diving into our conversation, we paused to honor the lives lost in 2001, the resilience of those who survived, and the threads of community and care that always rise in times of collective grief. It was a sacred moment, a grounding breath that reminded us why we gather at all.

Then, with warmth and deep presence, we turned toward our guest: Christine George.

Christine opened her heart to us with grace and clarity, reflecting on the many threads she weaves:

  • Daughter, caring for aging parents

  • Wife to a loving, supportive husband

  • Mother to a middle-school son

  • Five years cancer-free

  • Entrepreneur and Founder of Post & Beam Creative

  • Friend, partner, soul-led leader

Her story is so much more than a tidy list of achievements. It is a living testimony... a tapestry of devotion, boundaries, healing, and what it means to show up fully without burning out. As she shared, we could see ourselves in her... the ways we care, the pressure we hold, the moments we forget who we are inside all the roles we perform.

Christine offered her wisdom and experience, and in turn, the Collective exchanged energy and love in the circle. There was a shared sense of resonance. A few tears. A lot of nodding. Deep belly laughs. And a collective exhale that said, “Me too.”

Throughout the conversation, one truth stood out:

Devotion means choosing what to tend with care in this season... not pressure ourselves to do it ALL - all at once!
